This policy explains what personal data Voila, operated by Custom AI LLC, collects and how it is used.

1. Who is responsible

For venue owners and staff, Custom AI LLC is responsible for account data. For guests who order, the venue you order from decides why and how your order details are used; Custom AI LLC processes them on the venue's behalf to run the service.

2. What we collect

• Accounts: name, email address, hashed password, role, and sign-in times.
• Business data: business and location details, menus, products, images, tables, staff.
• Orders: items, notes, order times and totals, and, only if a guest chooses to give them, a name and phone number.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and request logs, used for security and troubleshooting.

Guests do not need an account. We do not collect payment card details in the service.

3. How we use it

To provide and secure the service, show orders to the venue, run loyalty programs the venue enables, send account messages such as password resets, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

4. Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run Voila, such as cloud hosting and database providers and an image-hosting provider, under appropriate safeguards; with the venue you order from; and when required by law.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies for sign-in sessions and security (CSRF protection). Staff browsers also store a small setting in local storage to remember whether order alerts are on. We do not use advertising cookies.

6. Retention

We keep data while an account is active and as needed for legal, accounting and security purposes. Order records are kept so venues can run their reporting. Backups age out on a regular cycle.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Guests should contact the venue they ordered from; account holders can contact us. We will respond as required by applicable law.

8. Security

We use measures such as hashed passwords, encrypted connections, access controls between businesses, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

9. Children

The service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal data of children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
